The Butterfly Effect @ The Tivoli

Struggling out of bed to go shoot the Butterfly Effect (ah tonsils, why do you keep punishing me so?) ended up being quite an enjoyable experience. With heat blasting from some front of stage lights, we all emerged dripping with sweat, but with some awesome shots to show for it. There was a 7 song shooting time due to a change of backdrop for the new album which the band wanted featured, this possibly the first sign that they were very “photo-aware”. I love showpony bands, they make for great photos, and Butterfly Effect worked and kindly held those rock poses like the best of them. Pointing, emotive hand movements, facial expressions and pretty lights, nearly every shot was a winner. Oh and a pretty laminated photo pass to boot. Good times.
